Title is a quote from the Wicked Witch of the West as she dies in Wizard of Oz.
So here I am being all jealous of Kapper's new MacBook.... and I promptly break my iBook. Cracked the LCD... It's still usable for the moment but as you probably (hopefully) know, the Liquid Crystal will cause more issues as time goes on now that it's loose and free to go where it wills. There's a long crack that goes from the top right corner to the bottom left corner, and 2 small cracks up in the top right corner. You can see the impact point up in the corner.
I called Apple. It's going to be like $850 to replace the screen. At that point why not just buy a new computer? Oh well. In the mean time, I'm pissed!
