White Stuff

Anyone who's lived in Columbus knows that we don't usually get big snows. If they get 5 inches of snow up north we'll get 2 inches of snow and 3 inches of freezing rain. Not so this time! It's hard to tell exactly how much we got because of the drifting but I think maybe 6 inches? Probably a bit more than that actually and it's still coming down!

Our dog Toby LOVES the snow and this is too much for even him! We let tiny little 8lb Gizmo out and he started heading out into the yard when I realized the snow was deeper than he is tall! Unfortunately he didn't realize that until it was too late and he was buried. Luckily Joey likes him so he rescued little Gizmo from his icy grave. Gizmo may be a black dog, but he was white from head to toe when he came in the house!

So, we're all stuck in the house today. Guess we're going to the Pet Expo tomorrow instead! Hopefully the weather will be a little better then. For now Eric's playing video games (Banjo Tooie) and the pups are playing with their toys and chewies. I'll have to get some pictures before we dig the cars out!
